Only highly trained and experienced engineers and technicians can change-out your existing control system efficiently and with minimal disruption. We put the right people on the project, professional and proficient; it is no wonder why so many choose CSG to upgrade their building, and to do it safety while keeping building operations functioning normally.

All that we do is with an emphasis on safety -- in our system retrofits we frequently encounter older automation systems that typically incorporate high voltage control circuits intermingled with fire alarm, pressure and temperature safeties or smoke purge. Our knowledge of -- and ability to recognize and address -- these circuits is only one reason to be confident that CSG will make your building efficient, comfortable and safe while reducing your operating cost(s).

Our industry-recognized expertise includes:

  • Replacing and upgrading electric, pneumatic, DDC components and panels seamlessly resulting in an installation that is comparable to a brand new construction; neat and serviceable with state-of-art BACnet technology.
  • Updating building riser back-bones to fiber or CAT6 for future expandability and high-speed automation and monitoring networks.
  • Developing a BMS architecture to avoid obsolescence through ‘open’ BACnet platforms and protocols.
  • Employing the latest operation systems such as Windows 7 server/station, LINAX and webCTRL 5.0
  • Optimizing existing mechanical hardware with proven sequence of operation for reduced energy use and increase tenant comfort.
  • Repairing or replacing existing end devices, changing out energy wasting leaking pneumatic actuators to electric direct coupled motors for reliable and accurate control.

Additionally, our procedures and methodologies effectively improve the end-user operator interface to benefit owners and tenants with:

  • a. Quicker service responses to mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems (such as broken fan belts, blown fuses or a water detection leak).
  • b. Alarm notifications that are documented with e-mail, history trends and operator logs.
  • c. Trending critical data for future diagnostics or tenant lease requirements.

Note: Your building may already have an Ethernet riser installed for facility management that can be utilized by a BMS renovation which will drastically reduce cost.
